MOOD INDIGO
Old Hollywood Jazz at Its Finest
ENTERTAINING THE STARS
Originally formed in 1980, Mood Indigo took Los Angeles by storm, playing the city's most sophisticated nightspots, entertaining at Hollywood star's parties, and appearing in the movie Frances.
The group's enthusiastic following basked in the cosmic chemistry of three distinct characters: master of bass and time David Jackson, whimsical virtuoso John Reynolds, and bandleader and crooner Casey MacGill.

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS
David charms with his husky baritone as he sashays with his Earthwood bass. His resume is a breathtaking journey beginning with being house bassist at the Troubadour, cast member of the Andy Williams TV show, alumni of the New Christy Minstrels, and un-credited co-composer of the hit tune Joy to the World.

John is a hand-drawn animated lad who has successfully transitioned from silent film to the talkies! He’s our romantic virtuoso, creating the perfect balance of music and entertainment with his guitar. John is a 4th generation Angeleno, whose grandmother was the actress ZaSu Pitts! John honed his skills working shows at Disneyland, and has performed with the Smothers Brothers, Julie Andrews, Johnny Crawford.
Casey, who croons and leads the riffery, is the witness and connective tissue. He stands in between David and John, enjoying the magic and mischief up close. MacGill’s career has ranged from busking to Broadway, playing theatre lines for Easy Rider to starring in Swing! on Broadway. He recently released a luxurious two-volume LP of his original music.
